Sister to Sister

There are few things in this world

That makes living a true reward;

A family who loves you, friends you hold dear,

These things we sincerely regard.

For me, there is one who I value so much

And that, my dear sister, is you.

I treasure your love and beautiful heart

And I’m so very proud of you too.

I admire your spirit to never give up

And the woman you have become.

I’m convinced that you’re headed for greatness

To a future that’s bright as the sun.

And so, my dear sister, though it’s not often said,

I love you with all of my heart.

I want you to know that you’re special to me

When we’re near or miles apart.
